Pursuant to Sections 119.03, 119.032, 3737.03, 3737.22, 3737.82, 3737.88, and 3737.882 of the Ohio Revised Code, the State Fire Marshal's Office will conduct a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2001, at the Ohio Fire Academy, 8895 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on proposed amendments to several rules of the Ohio Administrative Code.

Ohio Administrative Code 1301:7-1-03; 1301:7-7-31 and 1301:7-7-44 are being amended to: reflect changes necessary to provide for electronic submission of fire incident reports; to implement the provisions of Sub. H.B. 405 in regard to fireworks exhibitions; establish standards for mortar rack stability; establish fireworks exhibition inspection checklist requirements; clarify requirements for fireworks assistant registrations; clarify fireworks continuing education requirements; establish a flame effects exhibitor license requirements; establish 1.4S fireworks regulations; update referenced standards; clarify existing text and make editorial corrections.
