PROSPECT BANK AS NEWEST STATE-CHARTERED SAVINGS BANK

Prospect Bank Opened At Temporary Location In Columbus Yesterday

Prospect Bank opened for business yesterday at a temporary location at 5216 Bethel Center Mall, Columbus. The institution, which is Ohio’s third newly created state-chartered savings bank, is scheduled to move in October to a permanent location at 1600 Bethel Road, Columbus.

"The opening of new financial institutions such as Prospect Bank provides additional options for consumers as they select where to conduct their banking business,” said F. Scott O’Donnell, Superintendent of the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Financial Institutions.

Superintendent O'Donnell issued the Certificate of Authority to Commence Business on August 23. The chief executive officer of the savings bank is Harvey L. Glick.
