Notes: The Ski Tramway Board is a part of the Ohio Department of Commerce. It enforces the rules for operating passenger tramways (lifts). Additionally, the Board registers tramway operators, ensuring the safe operation of all ski lifts. In Ohio, no individual is permitted to operate tramways without Board registration.
Board members are appointed by the Governor for three-year terms. The Board currently consists of Richard Nemetz (Chairman), David Carto (Secretary) and Walter Rodgers (Member).
