WHEN CHANGING CLOCKS BACK FROM DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME

When you change your clocks back to Standard Time on Sunday, October 26, remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. This can double your chances of escaping a nighttime fire. This message brought to you by the Ohio Department of Commerce and the State Fire Marshal.

During the past five years, 10,500 fires occurred in Ohio homes where a smoke detector was present but not working.
