OHIO BANKERS DAY CONFERENCE TO BE HELD THURSDAY, MARCH 21

 

Federal Reserve Board Governor Susan Schmidt Bies To Speak 

 

The Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Financial Institutions will sponsor the Ohio Bankers Day Conference on Thursday, March 21 from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Adams Mark Hotel, 50 North Third Street, Columbus.  Approximately 250 directors and officers of Ohio’s state-chartered banks, savings and loans, and savings banks along with their regulators will be in attendance. 

The keynote speaker will be Federal Reserve Board Governor Susan Schmidt Bies.  Her speech, which is scheduled for 9:15 a.m, will focus on the capital adequacy and risk management of community banks.
