Details: The
Combined Charitable Campaign is state government’s primary charitable
fundraising drive. Through it,
state employees have the opportunity to give to more than 2,000 charitable
organizations through one-time donations and payroll deductions.
Governor Taft will thank the state employees who
donated their efforts to manage the 2002 campaign and will unveil the grand
total for donations received. The
total is expected to easily eclipse this year’s goal of $3.8
million.
