OHIO DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE CHARTERS COTTAGE SAVINGS BANK

 

 

Cottage Savings Bank opened its doors this morning at 9 a.m.  The new state-chartered savings bank is located at 9813 Montgomery Road in Montgomery. 

 

"The opening of Cottage Savings Bank provides an additional option for southwestern Ohio consumers as they select their financial institution of choice," said Superintendent of Financial Institutions F. Scott O’Donnell.

 

According to its application, Cottage Savings Bank will be a community-based, mortgage lending institution.  Superintendent O'Donnell issued the Certificate of Authority to Commence Business today.   The president of the savings bank is Barbara S. Farris.
