EASTLAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO HEAR PERSONAL FINANCE TIPS
FROM OHIO DIVISION OF SECURITIES SPEAKER
Tuesdays Presentation Part Of Saving And Investing Education Month
Jane Arata, an Enforcement Attorney with the Ohio Department of Commerces Division of Securities, will discuss the basics of saving and investing at Eastlake Elementary School, 35200 Stevens Boulevard, Eastlake on Tuesday, April 18. She will begin her presentations at 10 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
Governor Bob Taft has proclaimed April to be Saving and Investing Education Month in the State of Ohio. This observance month, which is part of a national investor education campaign, is designed to encourage consumers to save, invest wisely, and protect themselves against fraudulent schemes.
Ms. Arata will discuss the basics of saving and investing, especially as it applies to young Ohioans.
Note: Media interested in attending should report to the schools office prior to the personal finance sessions.
