SUMMIT COUNTY TRIAD COUNCIL TO HEAR INVESTOR PROTECTION TIPS
FROM OHIO DIVISION OF SECURITIES SPEAKER
Wednesdays Presentation Part Of Saving And Investing Education Month
Michael Quinn, an Enforcement Attorney with the Ohio Department of Commerces Division of Securities, will discuss investor protection at the Summit County TRIAD Council meeting on Wednesday, April 19 at the Quirk Center, 1201 Grant Street, Room 204, Cuyahoga Falls. His presentation will begin at 10 a.m.
The TRIAD is comprised of seniors, senior citizen organizations and law enforcement officials who work together to reduce crimes against older persons. The organization was formed by Summit County Sheriff Richard Warren.
Governor Bob Taft has proclaimed April to be Saving and Investing Education Month in the State of Ohio. This observance month, which is part of a national investor education campaign, is designed to encourage consumers to save, invest wisely, and protect themselves against fraudulent schemes.
Mr. Quinn will discuss the role of the Ohio Division of Securities and provide tips on how to spot and avoid investment fraud.
