STATE FIRE MARSHAL CELEBRATES
100th ANNIVERSARY ON APRIL 8th
COLUMBUSThe State Fire Marshals office will celebrate its 100th anniversary on Saturday, April 8, 2000. The centennial celebration will last from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Fire Marshals facility at 8895 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg.
This is a family event, for all ages, that can be added to community calendars or event schedules. Ohioans may also log onto the Department of Commerce website at
www.com.state.oh.us to learn more about the 100th Anniversary Celebration.To better inform the public about what the event offers, we ask media outlets to print or air one of the following PSAs as often as possible:

This is an open, family-oriented event with something for all ages, including antique and modern fire apparatus, firefighting demonstrations and hands-on fire safety activities.

You can take a picture of your child in firefighter gear, watch a fire safety puppet show, teach them to crawl under smoke or take part in other life saving lessons. Watch the bomb squad and robot demonstration or firefighters demonstrating rope repelling. Take in the bagpipe concert, witness the arson dog performance and more. Whatever you do, come join us.
