CENTERBANK IN MILFORD AS NEWEST STATE-CHARTERED BANK

CenterBank Opened At Temporary Location In Milford Today

CenterBank opened for business today at 9 a.m. at a temporary location at 1127 Main Street in Milford. The institution is scheduled to move during the 4th quarter of 2000 to its permanent location at 746 State Route 28 in Milford.

“Since 1995, the Division of Financial Institutions has chartered 11 new banks throughout the state,” said F. Scott O’Donnell, Superintendent of Financial Institutions. “We are pleased that CenterBank will provide another option for consumers when deciding where to conduct their banking business.”

Superintendent O'Donnell issued the Certificate of Authority to Commence Business on March 13. The chief executive officer of the bank is Joseph Boruszewski.
