ROCKY RIVER HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO HEAR
PERSONAL FINANCE TIPS FROM OHIO DIVISION OF SECURITIES SPEAKER
Tuesday's Presentation Is Part Of Saving And Investing Education Week
Jana Randazzo, a field examiner for the Ohio Division of Securities, will discuss personal finance topics with a business class at Rocky River High School, 20951 Detroit Road, Rocky River, on Tuesday, April 27 at 8:15 a.m.
Governor Bob Taft has proclaimed the week of April 25-May 1 as Saving And Investing Education Week. The week, which is being recognized in more than 20 countries, is designed to encourage consumers to save, invest wisely, and protect themselves against fraudulent schemes. This year's campaign is focusing on young people, particularly high school students who are beginning to form their saving and investing habits.
Ms. Randazzo will discuss the reasons to save to accumulate savings and will describe the factors to consider when selecting savings and investment options.

The Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of Securities is responsible for protecting investors from unfair and fraudulent practices in the securities industry. The Division promotes an honest and fair securities market in Ohio where individuals and businesses can raise capital and investors can expect a fair return on their investment.
