Details: Governor Voinovich will announce the creation of the Ohio Award for Excellence. The four tiered award is based on proven performance criteria of the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. All sectors of Ohio organizations are partnering to bring about this award. The Governor will unveil the details of award, which will recognize performance excellence in all sectors of Ohio organizations: Service, Manufacturing, Health Care, Education, Not-for Profit, and Government. There will also be a display at Team-Up Ohio, a conference highlighting successful quality initiatives in state government, which is being held at the convention center from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. the same day.
