Director of Commerce Gary C. Suhadolnik has selected Emily Smith, of Gahanna, as a summer legal intern for the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Administration.

The Summer Legal Internship programs runs from May to August and provides law school students with a substantial amount of experience in legal research and writing, focusing on issues of administrative law and regulatory matters within a diverse state agency.

Smith is a graduate of Miami University and will begin her third year of law studies at the Ohio State University College of Law this fall.

Smith is the daughter of Andrew and Micheal Sonderman of Gahanna.
