STATE FIRE MARSHAL’S FIRE SAFETY EDUCATORS GIVE CLASSES

ACROSS OHIO DURING NATIONAL FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

WHAT: Fire Safety Education Classes in Conjunction with the 2000

National Fire Prevention Week

WHEN: Tuesday, October 10^th through Friday, October 13^th

WHY: To heighten the public’s awareness of the importance of general and

personal fire safety during the timely backdrop of National Fire

Prevention Week

NOTES: The following two pages list the program dates, locations, times and

instructors for the 26 fire safety education classes given by the State Fire Marshal’s office around Ohio during Fire Prevention Week.

Our fire safety educators provide a wonderful interview source. During

the average year, they instruct 3000 classes on various fire safety issues

and reach more than 75,000 citizens in elementary schools, hospitals,

nursing homes, private industry and civic groups.

If you are interested in attending a class or interviewing one of our

educators, we ask that you contact us or the location where the program is being held to facilitate your request.
