Consumer Complaint
- Federal
Chartered Institutions
If the name of an institution contains "N.A.", "National", "Federal", "FSA",
or "FCU", it is a federally chartered institution. The Division
does not regulate it and can not process a complaint against that
institution. Complaints regarding federally chartered depository institutions
should be directed to the appropriate federal regulators.
It may be difficult to determine the regulator of an
institution because the full, legal name is not used in radio, television, and
print advertising. If you have a question about the correct regulator
of an institution, telephone the Division of Financial Institutions at (614)
728-8400.
