The Volunteer Fire Department Grant Program
How to Apply
Volunteer Fire Department Grant Program applications are mailed to the fire chiefs
of qualifying volunteer fire departments in January of each
year. The deadline for applying for grants is the month of March.
The Ohio Administrative Code Section 1301:7-5-19 establishes the criteria for
awarding these grants. One of the criteria is that fire departments must report
fires to the State Fire Marshal's office for the year preceding the grant
application.
