MEETING NOTICE

The Historic Steam Boiler Study Group will be meeting on Monday, November 5, 2001

at 10:00 a.m., at the Department of Agriculture, 8995 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg,Ohio.

The Study Group will hear input from representatives of local government associationsand fair boards.

The Historic Steam Boiler Study Group was formed at the request of Governor Bob Taft following a fatal explosion of a steam tractor in Medina County. The task force is reviewing steam engine regulations in Ohio and other states and is seeking input from various stakeholders regarding the operation of the engines. Upon completion, a report and any recommendations regarding historic steam boiler regulation will be forwarded to Governor Taft.
